We are keeping things fun in the sun during our summer camp. This year we are using the theme of Sea Adventures to foster their wonder and curiosity. Throughout the weeks they can become sea animals, pirates, and ocean explorers. They can dive into the deep sea and find out about the ocean floor. Our Summer Camp provides learning opportunities in different areas of development all the while giving children fun experiences. Our elements include Math, Literacy, Science, Cooking, Physical Play and so much more. We will also have some special rooms with different settings that support the theme.

Our qualified and experienced teachers will provide a learning-rich and caring environment so the children can explore, interact with others, and build new friendships. Classroom ratios are 1 Teacher:10 Students.

Programme Highlights

  • Welcome Time
Each day children will have developmental play to give them time to warm up and choose their areas of interest, it could be puzzles, building blocks, thematic resources or play corners.
Circle Time: Read a daily story and engage the children with comprehension questions and also a discussion on the book, plot, and outcome of the story.
  • Small Group Activities
Different tasks and resources will be set up at 2-3 tables, this could be arts & crafts, maths games, literacy games, fine motor activities, science experiments or playdough depending on the lesson plans for the day and the age group of the children.
  • Arts and Crafts
Providing a wide range of media and materials, students will be given opportunities to produce their own art and use their imaginations when creating their little masterpieces.
  • Science
Children are naturally curious and our science element will provide both experiments and the steps to research the properties of water, sand and sun. They will also learn about how the oceans have different systems and how they are related to each other.
  • Physical Play
Every day students will have a chance to run, jump, hop and climb within our play areas. Teachers will introduce and arrange team games, obstacle courses and individual stations to improve their physical development.
  • Snack Time
Children may bring a water bottle and a snack to camp and we will provide 20 minutes so they can take a brief rest and have some refreshments provided from home.
  • Music and Movement
As children enjoy singing and dancing, teachers will provide ample opportunities for them to use instruments, learn simple dances and sing many different songs.
