Overview
Box Hill is an international kindergarten originating from Australia. In 2004, we established our first school in Hong Kong. We have now expanded to include three campuses located in Ma On Shan, Fo Tan and Tseung Kwan O.

We believe that a caring, stimulating and encouraging environment is crucial for children in their early years development. We focus on nurturing each child’s confidence, independence and self-esteem and foster children’s interest towards learning. We believe that every child is an individual and give opportunities to express themselves through various differentiated activities. Developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on the Early Years Foundation Stage and theme-based activities are crucial to help students develop their personal and emotional skills, instil social awareness and encourage creativity and curiosity. At Box Hill, we believe all children deserve quality education in the early years from caring and dedicated teachers. Home-school cooperation is the foundation of our success and we welcome parents to become involved in their children’s learning.
Our Curriculum
EYFS
Based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage
Age 2 – 6
Designed for 2 – 6 Years Old Children
Our curriculum is based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage, cautiously designed for children ages 2 years to 6 years old. After completing our programme, our graduates are eligible for both international and local primary schools. Many of our graduates have been successful in finding places at well-known institutions both local and international. We provide a warm and caring environment for young children as this makes a positive impact on their development as well as their attitudes toward further studies in the primary years and beyond. The EYFS is based on sound theory and has been the core of early years’ programs globally which allows schools flexibility, and most importantly allowing teachers to adapt it to their own settings.
Our Team
Educators are the foundation of children’s learning and development at Box Hill. Our staff are dedicated and committed teachers that provide rich learning experiences for the children under their care. Teachers work together with parents to ensure children reach their full potential and are prepared for the next stage of their school life. Teachers are carefully screened and trained in the Box Hill philosophy and are expected to meet the high standards of practice set by the professional leadership team. Teachers are continuously evaluated to ensure the delivery of a quality programme and are expected to partake in continuous professional development to improve their skills and become knowledgeable in the latest innovations and advancement in early years provision. We expect professionalism in all members of staff to provide families with the best possible service and care.
