[The Standard] Originated from Australia, Box Hill International Kindergarten and Preschool span four sister schools in Hong Kong, which are located in Ma On Shan, Tseung Kwan O, Fo Tan and Kwai Chung. Adopting a theme-based learning approach, the school believes that a caring, interesting and encouraging environment is crucial for children’s development in their early years.

Based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage, Box Hill’s curriculum is specially designed for children aged from 2 to 6 to enter and excel at top local or international primary schools.

“We place a strong emphasis on students’ language development,” says Shirley Chung, School Supervisor of Box Hill. “Although English is the medium of instruction for all the classes, the curriculum also incorporates Cantonese and Mandarin lessons dedicated to fostering children’s bilingual skills.”

Box Hill has set up a safe, secure and nurturing campus to stimulate children’s curiosity and imagination. “Learning with the well-equipped facilities in a creative setting enables our children to develop a strong sense of identity and character,” Chung says.
